Logo-EALE2The 31st Annual Conference of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) will be held on September 18-20, 2014 in Aix-en-Provence, France at Aix-Marseille Université in the Main Building of the Law School. Overview Aix-en-Provence is the historical capital of Provence. Aix (from Aquae Sextiae, the “city of waters”) was founded in 123 BC by the Romans. Throughout history it was a center for political and judiciary institutions as well as universities and a thermal station. Today it remains a dynamic touristic spot, well known for its waters, university and Paul Cézanne’s famous Sainte-Victoire paintings. The conference will be hosted by Aix Marseille Université, the largest French-speaking university and one of France’s oldest higher education institutions (founded in 1409). The European Association of Law and Economics and the local organizing committee wish you a warm welcome and hope to see you in Aix-en-Provence! Prof.ssa Valeria Falce (European University of Rome) will speak with a report entitled “Confidential information and trade secret protection in the Innovation Internal Market“.
