The seminars are hosted by the Law Department of Luiss University, in “Innovation Law and Regulation” course. They run through April-beginning May 2022 and participation is possible both in person and online (see below for registration links).
The seminars are meant to disseminate knowledge about NFTs and Metaverses among the wider public and how this advancement in technology is disrupting established legal concepts and institutions.
To do so, we planned 5 meetings with the following calendar (time is always Thursdays, 5-7pm CEST):
7 April ’22: NFTs and Metaverses: Recreating Institutions vs Public Law
14 April ’22: NFTs and Metaverses vs Financial Law
21 April ’22: NFTs and Metaverses vs IP Law
28 April ’22: NFTs and Metaverses vs Contract Law
5 May ’22: NFTs and Metaverses vs Competition Law
The concept for each seminar is to have at least three voices discussing the subject: a legal scholar, the business community, and an institution (the regulator).
To attend the First Seminar in person, please bring a valid Super Green Pass and sign up here.
